Freight plan progress

This week RDALC convened a meeting to inform the next update of the South Australian portion of the Green Triangle Region Freight Action Plan (GTFAP).

The meeting included presentations from DPTI and PIRSA on progress to date and an update of the Improving Road Transport for Primary Production Project. Input was provided by local government and industry regarding critical aspects that need funding and other issues, such as intermodal sites, rail etc.

CEO David Wheaton said it was pleasing to note that with the exception of the Penola bypass, the majority of works identified in the plan had been completed.
