Innovation and Export Forum
Upcoming Innovation and Export Forum
Regional Development Australia Limestone Coast is pleased to host the upcoming Innovation and Export Forum on the 19th of September from 1.30 p.m. – 5.30 p.m. at the Main Corner, City Hall, Mount Gambier.
CEO Dave Wheaton said “The Limestone Coast is a diverse region featuring competitive advantages in industries including agriculture, forestry, fishing, tourism and manufacturing. Through leadership and collaboration the region is poised to embrace innovation and keep pace with the demands of the global economy. New international free trade agreements, emerging supply chain opportunities, commercialisation of local ideas and products, technological advancements and an export appetite for clean, green agricultural products will drive the future prosperity of our region. This forum provides local companies with direct access to government departments and agencies that can assist them to grow into international markets and achieve export success”.
AusIndustry Regional Manager Callena Rawlings said “We’ve brought together a range of experts to share information with businesses looking to grow, innovate and export. We know businesses are busy, so we have provided a program which makes the most of their time and exposes them to new information and programmes which can support them. I think everyone who comes will learn something new, gain a broader understanding of global market opportunities and find a new avenue of support. We have a great level of interest so far, with places filling up quickly, so we encourage businesses to RSVP as soon as possible so they don’t miss out”.
