RDA Limestone Coast Chair Resigns
Mr Richard Vickery, has stepped down as Chair of Regional Development Australia Limestone Coast (RDALC) after serving in the position since January 2015.
During his term as Chair of RDALC, Mr Vickery oversaw some major changes, including the appointment of a new CEO, a restructure of board membership and a strong focus on building relationships with the three levels of government.
Following a number of new appointments to the organisation over the past few months, the staff headed by CEO David Wheaton, and the Board are leading RDALC through a period of renewal. The Chair vacancy arising from Mr Vickery’s resignation creates an opportunity for new leadership and will continue to strengthen the organisation’s role in driving economic growth across the Limestone Coast.
Deputy Chair, Alan Richardson will head the RDALC board until a new chair is appointed by the Federal Minister for Regional Development, the Hon. Fiona Nash.
